Potato and Drumstick soup

Ingredients:
Potato: 2 medium
Drumstick: 4
Garlic ginger paste: 2 tbs
Onions: 1 medium
Green peas, broccoli: 1/2 cup
Salt to taste
Freshly crushed pepper
Lemon juice
Chinese salt

Preparation:
Wash peel and cut potato into big chunks, wash and cut drumsticks. Boil them together in pressure cooker for 3-4 pressures. Keep pressure cooker aside for 10 minutes to release the pressure. Open the pressure cooker and let potato cook off.

Liquidise potato and drumsticks by removing access water. Filter to remove fiber of drumsticks.

Peel and finely chop onions. Wash and chop broccoli into peas sized pieces.

Heat the pot. Add oil in the pot, add Chinese salt, add garlic and ginger paste. Now add onions and fry them till translucent, add broccoli and stir fry in oil for 3 minutes. Add green peas and stir fry in oil for 2 minutes. Add potato paste and mix well. Add salt to taste. Add water if necessary. Cover the lid and boil for 5-7 minutes on low heat and also till broccoli and peas are cooked.

Add lemon juice and garnish with freshly crushed black pepper. Serve hot.

This soup goes well with stir fried vegetables or noodles in main course.
