Lentil Soup

Ingredients:
Green lentil: 1/2 cup
Tomato: 1 tin chopped
Onions: 1 small
Black olives: 10
Olive oil
Water: 1 cup
Salt to taste
Freshly crushed black pepper

Preparation:
Chop black olives in ring shape.

Heat the pot, add 3 tbs of olive oil. Add 2 tbs of black pepper in hot oil. Once pepper starts crackling add onions. Saute onions in oil and reduce the flame to low heat. After 1 minute add green lentil. Saute lentil till everything gets nicely mixed. Add chopped tomatoes and olives and one cup of water. Add salt to taste. Mix well. Cover the lid and simmer it for 30 minutes.

Keep checking occasionally and check lentils. Cook till lentils are soft. Cook this soup on low heat at all time. Soup is ready once lentils are soft. Onions should be crunchy for best taste.

Pour soup in serving bowl and garnish with freshly crushed pepper.
