Marathi style chutney is slightly off green and little bit on hotter side. This can be enjoyed with Thalipeeth, alu wadi, bhakhari or along with lunch.
Ingredients:
Coriander: 1/2 cup
Peanuts: 8
Green chili: 3-4
Garlic clove: 2
Water: little bit
Salt to taste
Lime juice: 2tbs
Preparation:
Wash and clean coriander.
Roast peanuts so that its skin is dark brown. Once cool, remove the skin and keep aside.
Heat oil in pan and roast garlic in oil till its slightly brown. Do the same with green chili. Be careful when you roast chili. Set it to cool off.
Take blender jar and add peanuts in it and grind it to powder. Add green chili and garlic and grind in the same blender along with peanuts to make paste.
Add coriander, lime juice salt to taste and little bit water to help grinding all the ingredients.
Make into smooth paste and chutney is ready.
