This is a french recipe and very easy to make. You can make it in advance and enjoy it when ever you want. A good recipe for parties as well. This is obviously a vegetarian version of tapenade.
Ingredients:
Olives: 150gms
Capers: 1 table spoon
Dijon mustard: 1/2 table spoon
Garlic clove: 1 crushed
Parsley and thyme or coriander and basil: handful.
Extra virgin olive oil: 2-3 table spoon
Lime juice: 1 table spoon
Preparation:
Take olives, capers, herbs, garlic and mustard in the blender and blend it on low speed. We want to crush all to make a coarse paste so blend it on low speed.
Once it start to get paste like, add oil, lime juice and give it a blend or two.
Take it out in a bowl. This paste is ready. You can apply it on any kind of toasted bread and serve.
Cut bread into thin slices.
Toast them.
Apply good layer of tapenade and enjoy.
